Letter to Spiritual Abuse Survivors--By Margaret W. Jones, Ph.D

Abuse, no matter, what form it takes: sexual, physical, emotional or spiritual wounds our souls often driving us away from God. After I was raped at age 11 I withdrew from everyone. Five years later finding no solace in attending mass I stopped going and became an atheist. I thought, What was the point of praying. God wasn’t listening. But that left me spiritually empty.Read more

Project Reconcile Phase I is ended

It is with great pleasure that I announce the top letter submissions for Project Reconcile. Truthfully, there were not that many submissions. However, the quality of said submissions was impressive. It was difficult to rank them.

Each letter was evaluated by a panel of Christian writers against a wide variety of criteria. The top three that emerged were the following:

Overcoming Betrayal--By Cindy Price
Standing Firm In Our Faith--By Cherie LaLanne
To Whom It May Concern--By T.J. Sinsay

They will recieve a signed copy of my book, T.R.U.T.H. IN MINISTRY.Read more

Lets Keep It Going

Good Morning,
I wanted to take a moment and thank all who submitted entries to Project Reconcile. I also want to thank the panel of writers who have been reading them. I had to take a recess for a couple of weeks to find a new place to live, but now I am settled. I want to give the panel a few more days to evaluate the letters, then I will announce the top three.Read more

Overcoming Betrayal--By Cindy Price

Hurt and betrayal are experiences that we come to expect the longer we live in a fallen world. As we grow older, we develop mechanisms that we use to shield us from the sting of pain that is inevitably a part of life experiences. Amature acrobats of sorts, we develop techniques commonly and unscientifically known as "rolling with the punches".Read more

Please Come Home--By Whispercare

Dear Brother and Sister,

Please come back! We miss you!

Forgive us our trespasses. We understand that no apology can turn back time and change what has happened to hurt you so deeply that you felt you had to run away. We want you to know that you do not need to carry the hurt and pain any longer. We cannot promise that we will be any better than we were before, but Jesus is our healer and reconciler. He is teaching and disciplining us. We want you to find His comfort and peace. Read more

To Whom It May Concern--By T.J. Sinsay

To Whom It May Concern

This is for all of those that either are having a hard time in life
with things that they are holding on too, so tightly that it hurts, be
it a possession or a person but most likely it’s a person. This is also
for those that are letting others hold on to you so tightly but don’t
want to give a chance to see what may happen. Either way everyone is
being stupid by the choice that we all make.

Those who know others are holding on the hopes of getting somethingRead more

Forgiveness--By Tim Gamelle

I am a professional Saxophone player who has been at times used and cast aside by church leaders. There have been several times when I believed God was moving me on from a particular church or even a worship team and when I made this known suddenly I was somehow rebelling against authority or committing some sort of sin. Standing Firm In Our Faith--By Cherie LaLanne

As I begin this letter, I am realizing this call to write is actually part of my own healing process. You see, I nearly left my church over the pain caused by a sister in Christ. This actually happened to me twice in my own church. The recent months, including this moment, have led me to a place of reconciliation within my soul. This letter appears as a way God wants me to move another step closer to this place of reconciliation.Read more
