Examiner.com is a great place to begin a writing career. You can apply to be a regular columnist in a specific subject area in your geographic location. For example: if you know alot about football you would apply to be the Football Examiner or Sports Examiner in your city. Comics your thing? You could apply to be the Comics Examiner.
