Grace is a gift. It is a gift that is given to all people. Like any gift it can be rejected or unappreciated.

God's mercy saved us, however it is God's grace that empowers us to become what He created us to be. To put it another way, "Mercy saved us from what we deserved and grace gives us what we do not deserve."

I recently did a study on grace and would like to share some of the scriptures I discovered as I struggled to understand and receive God's grace. Meditate on these. Write them down or print them out and carry them with you. Make them your own - Live with them. I pray that these few scriptures will wet your appetite for the word of God and you too will search out and receive God's grace. There are a whole lot more verses that you can search out for an even greater understanding. Grace is the most powerful force in my life conforming me into the image of Christ and I sincerely desire the same blessing for you.

Proverbs 3:34 He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.

Isaiah 26:10 Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the LORD.

Jonah 2:8 "Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.

John 1:16 From the fulness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.

Acts 20:32 "Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
